You're welcome to meet us in person at our funeral home, or we can come to you, or simply arrange a call — whatever feels easiest for you. Jo and Carl are independent funeral directors, so you'll never be passed from one person to another. You will always get through to our experienced team.
INSIDE OUR FUNERAL HOME
This is where we meet families and talk through your loved one's wishes. When you call us, we collect your loved one and bring them here to our funeral home before the funeral. We care for them ourselves and prepare them for their final journey, taking great care to fulfil your wishes — keeping treasured keepsakes with them and dressing them in clothes of your choosing.
Your loved one will be treated with the utmost dignity and respect at all times. You will always know exactly where they are — unlike national chains, who often transport those in their care to central hubs many miles away. You are also welcome to visit your loved one in our chapel of rest whenever you wish.
Step Through Our Door
Our home was designed to feel nothing like a 'typical' funeral director's — warm and welcoming rather than cold or formal. From the moment you arrive, we want you to feel comfortable, unhurried and looked after.
A comfortable, homely lounge area where you can sit, take your time and gather your thoughts.
Bean bags and activities to keep little ones happy, so the whole family is welcome.
A drinking station is always on hand — settle in with a cuppa whenever you need one.
Discreet divider screens give you privacy and calm while we make arrangements together.
Parking is available so you can arrive and leave with as little stress as possible.
Our premises are wheelchair accessible, so everyone can visit comfortably.

A PLACE OF COMFORT
Our Chapel of Rest is discreetly accessible from the reception area, so you can come and go quietly and as often as you wish. For many families, spending a little time with their loved one brings real comfort, and you are always welcome.
You will know exactly where your loved one is and precisely who is caring for them. We can place special keepsakes or photographs with them, dress them in clothes of your choosing, and carefully prepare them for their final journey — whatever feels right to you.
Many of the large national chains transport those in their care to central hubs, often miles away. We care for your loved one ourselves, here in our own funeral home — and in our experience, knowing where they are and who is looking after them brings families enormous comfort during this difficult time.
